Meet Dr. Batra

Dr. Shikha Batra graduated from an Ivy League program at the University of Pennsylvania School of dental Medicine in 1997. She continued her training, for another year, in a highly intensive hospital residency training program at Thomas Jefferson University. This training has enabled her to treat all facets of dentistry efficiently, effectively, and thoroughly. Dr. Shikha Batra also has teaching experience, as an associate professor, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shikha Batra remains active as a board member for the Michigan Dental Association New Dentist Member Committee in addition keeping up with advancements in dentistry through seminars and study clubs.

Dr. Batra enjoys biking, reading, yoga, and travel. She has been married for over two years and has much family in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Dr. Shikha Batra is featured in the Troy/Somerset Gazette newspaper and often writes articles educating people on different procedures and trends in the field of dentistry.

Her and her team pride themselves on creating a friendly and non-threatening environment for people. Some of the innovative features that she provides include:
  • At home whitening kits.
  • Magic mirror - designed to help clients view their teeth before and after cosmetic bleaching procedures.
  • Intra-oral camera - helps the client to see actual pictures of the intra and extra oral.
  • Personal/heated massage chairs.

  • White fillings and porcelain crowns.
