As this relates to field of dentistry, it seems that his statement does hold true. In a recent survey, the average dental client was more likely to render to treatment based on findings of an intra-oral camera then the solely the word of his or his dentist.

The intra-oral camera will actually allow the client to take a photograph of the actual image viewed home with them. The intra-oral camera of today acts some what like a "magic mirror" for clients.

How does this help the dental client? It allows the client to make an informed decision about their dental health care. Visualization of what a health care professional "does" has always been an enigma to many clients... now seeing really is believing!
